At Huntington Animal Hospital, we’ve proudly served the Huntington community and beyond for over 70 years, treating every pet like part of the family with compassion and expert care.
In 2022, Dr. Paoloni and Dr. Miglorino took ownership of the hospital, continuing the tradition of excellence set by the hospital’s founder, Dr. Mort Kramer. With over two decades of working together, Dr. Paoloni and Dr. Miglorino are passionate about maintaining the family-oriented values that have made Huntington Animal Hospital a trusted name in pet care for generations.
A Legacy of Care
Being a Cat Friendly Practice means creating a calm, comfortable experience for cats through trained staff, a cat-friendly environment, and support for owners every step of the way.
The story of Huntington Animal Hospital began in 1952 when Dr. Mort Kramer, a graduate of Middlesex Veterinary School, established the practice in a small red brick house at 113 Walt Whitman Road. The original clinic started in the building’s basement, but as the practice grew, it expanded into the rest of the building. Dr. Kramer’s son, Dr. Jeff Kramer, was born in Huntington Hospital in 1954 and spent his early childhood living right above the practice. In fact, Dr. Jeff’s first bedroom was in what is now the current exam room!
In 1960, the hospital was expanded to its current structure, providing more space to accommodate the growing needs of the practice and its patients. After Dr. Jeff Kramer returned to Huntington in 1983 to take over the hospital, the facility has continued to evolve with upgrades in both structure and medical technology.
